About the Author
Patricia Russell holds many titles, but the one she is most proud of is mother. A single mother, she is known as Mommy to her two children, Ezariah and Bella, whom she adopted through the foster care system. While her days are spent in the corporate world, her free time is devoted to her children, writing, and advocacy work. She is passionate about child welfare and enjoys sharing her experiences with foster care and adoption. She serves on the Board of Directors for Berkshire Farm Center, the agency with whom she was a certified foster parent. After years of dreaming of becoming an author, she finally found her inspiration to begin writing in her children. Her dedication to advocacy around foster care and adoption, coupled with her experience as a foster to adopt parent, has inspired her work.
